Elephant & Castle is a British style pub that offers a lively football (or soccer) focused atmosphere. In the past the brand has created unique campaigns for
all large scale tournaments including both mens and womens world cup,
and the UEFA championships. having the world cup in our own backyard both
in Canada and the USA meant some of our locations were lucky enough to be
in host cities. This campaign was a go big or go home moment for the brand.

Elephant & Castle is a British football style pub making it well positioned to capture increased foot traffic from local fans, visiting supporters, and tourists seeking a reliable pub experience to watch matches live. Having 3 locations (Boston, Toronto & Seattle) out of 8 locations in host cities makes this world cup a key moment in positioning Elephant & Castle as the go to football pub across North America.
With the increased football traffic across North America the brand has two key goals
1. Drive sustained traffic to all Elephant & Castle locations throughout the 2026 World Cup, positioning the brand as the go-to pub to watch every match live.
2.Strengthen and extend the “Football Lives Here” brand platform, reinforcing Elephant & Castle as the home of football not only during major tournaments, but year-round across leagues and competitions.
To position Elephant & Castle as the go-to destination for the 2026 World Cup, a campaign was created that feels bold, recognizable, and energetic, capturing the spirit of the tournament while carefully respecting FIFA copyright and trademark guidelines.
Inspired by the tournament’s repeating “26” motif, the visual system reimagines the numbers as an “E” and “C,” with a rotated “E” forming a simplified elephant icon. Together, these elements create dynamic patterns that feel unmistakably football-inspired and reinforce the brand’s “Football Lives Here” identity.
The flexible framework was executed across print and digital channels, including geo-targeted ad sets for all eight locations alongside a brand-wide campaign.
