THE CONSTITUENCY OF ST. GEORGE NORTH EAST |
The part of the parish of Saint George bounded on the north from a point on the imaginary line being the southern and eastern boundary of the Constituency of Saint George North West; on the West by lands of the Darbeau Estate; on the South by that of the northern boundary of the Town of Saint George from that part of the Saint John's River near to Steele's Auto Supplies and up the river to the junction of the Tempe Main Road with the Saint David Main Road to the Park River; and on the East by the portion of the eastern boundary of the Parish of Saint George north of the bridge of the Saint David Main Road Spanning the Park River (which is a tributary of the Chemin River) to the intersection of the boundaries of the three Parishes of Saint George, Saint John and Saint Andrew. |

PROGRESS IN THE CONSTITUENCY |
In past years the constituency of St. George North East have felt the strong influence of the New National Party (NNP) in the renovation of secondary, primary, Roman Catholic, Methodist and pre-schools, medical stations and community centres.
There has also been the expansion, re-development and re-surfacing of playing fields, roads, bridges and guard rails. Good Hope Road, Mardi Gras Road and St. Paul's Road have all been repaired and re-surfaced, so too Dam Road and Back Street Road in Tempe. The construction of Melrose Road was completed and opened in 2007 and the road through St. George's Estate was re-paved. |

- Small business development, employment expansion and creation and improved water supply in Mt. Parnassus and New Hampshire.
- The expansion of pre-school and day-care services.
- Linkages between schools and the farming communities.
- Food security through diversification.
- Eat -What You Grow-Grow What You Eat campaign.
- Healthy lifestyle campaign.
- Community health fairs.
- Stronger primary health care provision.
- The expansion of the road network from Deco Service Station, Mt.Gay to the 1910 Point, Grand Etang.
- Improvement in the housing stock.
- Effective youth development- skills training, sports, cultural and spiritual growth, educational opportunities and community leadership.
